Job Description Job Description Salary: $70k-$85k We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our accounting and finance team in Oberlin, OH with primary responsibility for Bellpark Operations in Surrey, BC. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing full-cycle accounting processes for the Canadian automation entity including month-end close, financial reporting, and data analysis. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and experience handling large volumes of financial data. Responsibilities: Oversee full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. Manage the month-end and year-end close process in accordance with the Corporate Accounting and consolidation timeline, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies. Process and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll transactions, and processing accounts receivables collections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment, including operations, supply chain, and finance. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries. Assist with fiscal inventory, as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and internal controls. Handle large volumes of financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Supports the Corporate Accounting function with identified reporting requirements. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required) Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with full-cycle accounting (including month-end close) is required. Experience handling large volumes of financial data in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required). Experience with QuickBooks, required. Experience with Microsoft Great Plains, a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively across different functional areas.
