Job Description Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist - Contract-to-Hire Location: Sterling Heights, MI (Fully On-Site) Compensation: $25-$29 per hour (based on experience) Company: LHH Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our manufacturing client LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Sterling Heights, MI, to identify an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a full-time, Contract-to-Hire opportunity. This role is fully on-site and ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across accounting and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve payment discrepancies Manage collections activity, including follow-up calls and email outreach Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts Prepare AR aging reports and assist with month-end close Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing or account issues Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure data accuracy Qualifications: Previous experience in Accounts Receivable required; manufacturing industry experience is a plus Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and payment applications Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Why This Opportunity: Contract-to-Hire pathway offering long-term career potential On-site environment with a collaborative accounting team Competitive hourly compensation: $25-$29/hr , depending on experience If you are an AR professional looking for your next opportunity within a stable and growing manufacturing organization, we encourage you to apply!
