collaborative team environment. POSITION SUMMARY: The Central
Monitoring Desk Analyst analyzes, directs, and optimizes the
terminal operations in the L&S Terminals Organization using PI
and associated software to ensure safety, product quality, and
efficient operation in accordance with operating parameters,
schedules, customer demand, and field data. They take direct action
in response to operational problems; direct Terminal Operations,
Maintenance, inventory reconciliation, Terminal automation system
(Fuel-Facs) support, customers, and other business partners to
ensure appropriate response to operational problems, including
equipment malfunctions; ensure all policies and procedures are
followed by the directed personnel; record these problems and
remedies in detail on shift reports for distribution and review by
affected personnel, and follow up as needed. The Central Monitoring
Desk is staffed 24/7/365. Individuals work 12-hour shifts. Seven
days are worked in a fourteen-day time period, working an average
of 182 days in a given year. The shifts alternate from AM to PM,
with expected PM shifts up to 50% of the work year. Position
requires a 3-year employment commitment to the CMD. KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyzes, directs, and optimizes Terminal
Operations using process monitoring software and other various
applications, critical thinking and analytical/problem solving
skills to ensure safe, reliable, and cost competitive operations in
accordance with established policies and procedures. - Manages
alarm notifications, which are created from RAN (remote alarm
notification) system, by notifying appropriate local terminal
operations based on alarm description. - Utilizes the Hauler Portal
to review and approve or deny trailers after normal business hours.
- Supports field operations with the unattended third-party
pipeline process by performing required FuelFacs tasks per
procedure. - Provides driver refresher training for third-party
drivers for 180-day lockout and TNG Cert Expire. - Provides strong
customer service to internal and external business partners;
ensures all policies and procedures are followed by the directed
personnel; records all events in detail through ticket logging and
distribution to affected personnel. - Provides subject matter
expertise on process monitoring software and associated
applications to Terminal Operations and various business partners;
ensures that process monitoring software and associated hardware,
software and data communications are functioning properly. -
Communicates and collaborates with Terminal Operations, Terminal
Services, IT, Marketing, and other business partners to ensure that
all parties are aware of critical operating information. - Assists
with creating, updating, and reviewing policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or GED Required,
Bachelors Degree Preferred - Strong communication, analytical, and
problem-solving skills required. - Demonstrates analytical and
communication skills necessary to handle day-to-day desk
responsibilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication
skills are needed to work with both internal and external
customers. - Attention to detail is essential to complete this job
