Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available, serving
preschool students in Early Childhood Special Education and
tuition-based classrooms, as well as providing speech therapy to
speech-only students at the elementary level. This role is based in
an elementary school setting in Sterling Heights, MI, with a
contract duration through the current school year. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology services to
preschool students in Early Childhood Special Education and
tuition-based classrooms. Provide speech therapy to elementary
students requiring speech-only services. Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor and
document student progress, maintaining accurate records in
compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings,
evaluations, and professional development activities.
Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged students.
Knowledge of early childhood special education and speech therapy
best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Sterling Heights, Michigan Schedule: Full-time, contract
