Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An Occupational Therapist with experience in K-12 school settings is needed for a contract position in Detroit, MI. This role supports students in developing the skills necessary for academic and daily success in a school environment. Key Qualifications: - Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan - Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings - Strong understanding of educational and developmental assessments - Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students Location: Onsite assignment in Detroit, Michigan. Responsibilities: - Provide occupational therapy services tailored to students' individual needs - Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation - Conduct evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans - Document progress and adjust services as needed throughout the semester - Ensure compliance with school policies and licensing requirements This contract position is for the remainder of the current semester, with the possibility of extension into the next school year.
