Job description:

Shift By Wire Design and Release Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Livonia, MI). Deliver shift by wire products that are world class in cost, quality, function and time to market. Design and release E-lever SBW systems for global programs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a master's or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience designing and releasing automotive interior components into vehicle production
• 2 years of experience: developing and implementing CAN communication tools and diagnostics and integrating them into automotive interior components
• 2 years of experience: developing, testing, and gathering data management for CAN messaging and database for verification and improvement of automotive interior components
