Job Description:
The RoleAs Controls and IOT Engineer you will be a crucial part
of the Solutions team responsible for digitizing production lines
and implementing controls, bridging the gap between our AI systems
and physical hardward inside the SCADA layer. You will be
responsible for implementing the most cost-effective methods for
sensing and collecting required data. You will build connections
between outputs from AI controllers and device-level PLCs and other
controls interfaces. You will validate performance of AI
controllers versus benchmarks, and ensure overall functionality and
quality of installations at customer sites.Essential
SkillsCompetency with PLC (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider).Competency
in PLC integration with tag mappingCompetency with embedded devices
and sensors.Competency with relevant networking
technologies.Fluency with standard communication protocols,
especially OPC/UA and MQTT.Coding skills in relevant environments,
such as C, C++, or MATLAB.Ability to work with a dynamic team in a
fast-paced startup environment.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with Machine
Learning.Experience with any of the technologies in our stack
outside of the SCADA layer:PostgresKafkaPython and
TensorFlowRESTful APIsNode.jsReactIgnition (SCADA)Cloud experience
such as AWSQualificationsBachelors in Engineering (Mechanical,
Industrial, Chemical or Electrical preferred).Relevant experience
