We are looking for a talented Program Control Engineer to join our BEV Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing UNSE BEV Power Units & eBeam Axle Systems Department. The BEV Team develops all of Ford's future Electrified Power Units and manages ongoing production changes. With Ford's impressive future, there is a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career potential. The hiring position is for Program Management of Externally Purchased Power Units. Power Units are the electrified "transmission" which propel the vehicle. Electric Vehicle Programs are experiencing immense growth and we are looking to build our team with driven and qualified candidates.
The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of Program Management and Engineering knowledge in either Power Units or Driveline/Axle components. They will be able to manage various programs and products throughout the development lifecycle. The candidate needs to be motivated to lead and manage their product to success. As a leader you must be able to motivate others, both internally and externally, to deliver a product on time, to budget and which meets all program requirements. You will need to be able to identify problems to meet program deliverables, identify solutions and communicate project status to upper management.
What you will be able to do:



  • Manage milestone cadence within Ford's Standard Program Timing


  • Lead milestone assessments, report-outs (up to Director level), and papers


  • Lead TPMT (Transmission Product Management Team) reviews


  • Act as Power Unit lead/SPOC in Program Management Meetings


  • Collect and enter Integrator assessments (evidence of deliverable completeness)


  • Work cross functionally with Purchasing, Systems Engineering, Finance


  • Manage the program budget for responsible Power Units


  • Manage digital Bill of Materials


  • Support Change Requests internally within Product Development and Program Teams


  • Identify timing issues and clearly communicate risk to the Program


  • Ensure your Power Units are on time, to budget and lead the team in mitigation of issues


    Minimum Requirements:


    • Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering


    • Microsoft Office fluency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, One Note) - 2 yrs


    • Presentation experience - 1 yr


      Preferred Requirements:


      • Power Unit Engineering - 1yr


      • Driveline Engineering - 1yr


      • Program Management - 5yrs
