Perrysburg, OH for an initial 2-week in-person paid orientation and
training period. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS A Project Engineering
Manager AT SIGMA: Directs and oversees the operational plan for
completing projects within the established scope, schedule, and
budget for all projects across all functions. Oversees the
establishment and maintenance of Quality Assurance (QA) systems for
all projects and customers to maintain acceptable metrics by
function. Evaluate and approve changes that substantially impact
the scope, budget, or schedule of a project. Reviews industry
policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and
regulatory compliance. Monitors progress and performance against
the project plan. Responsibilities: - Possesses strong leadership
and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and
guide teams of Project engineers. - Is a technical expert who
maintains a thorough and deep understanding of the technical
details required on their projects, staying updated on industry
trends and technology advances. - Oversees the crafting and
documenting of processes and workflows that serve as the foundation
for efficiency, quality, and adherence to technical standards
throughout the lifecycle of their projects. - Is a strong and
effective communicator, with the ability to build and maintain
strong client relationships. - Ensures project schedules are
created and communicated with project teams and any technical
roadblocks are resolved promptly and satisfactorily. - Maintains a
forward-looking approach, identifying issues early and working
across their team and adjacent pillars to mitigate. - Oversees the
Project engineers/technical liaisons between the customer and
Sigma, ensuring communication is clear, concise, and timely as well
as cascaded to project teams when appropriate. - Periodically
audits workflows, specifications, and processes to identify
opportunities of increased efficiency, quality, and
standardization. - Oversees the establishment and maintenance of QA
systems for multiple projects and customers to maintain acceptable
metrics by function. - Oversees the accurate and timely reporting
of project statuses and functional metrics to key stakeholders by
Project engineers. - Oversees the creation, standardization, and
maintenance of all project tracking apps. - Manages Project
engineering responsibilities related to new proposals and change
orders. - Actively promotes a culture of continual improvement,
working across all departments of the business to simplify and
standardize all business procedures and reporting related to the
Project engineering function, including Workflows, Processes, and
Reports. - Support the Program Manager team for sales opportunities
as the technical SME. - Other duties as assigned. Competencies:

Requirements: Experience/Education Requirements: - Education–
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience -
A minimum of 8 years of experience with engineering, operations,
and /or project management including financial oversight and
personnel development. And a minimum of 3 years of functional, or
direct people management experience, with the proven ability to
lead, motivate, and influence associates. - Advanced field,
drafting, and/or design knowledge. - Familiar with basic concepts,
practices, and procedures used in general management of specific
function(s) - Experience in project scheduling, cost controls,
tracking, and reporting methodologies. - Knowledge of financial
principles to quantify costs and benefits of projects and to track
and maintain project budgets. - Excellent oral and written
communication skills to facilitate team efforts, provide guidance
and direction to team members, and communicate project objectives,
parameters, status, and outcomes to stakeholders. - Dependable
transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance - Able to
pass a background check/drug test/driving record check. - Computer
literate – especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - Willing to
travel as needed, including overnight travel. - Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team,
establishing and sustaining relationships with colleagues and
employees at all levels in the company. - Strong technical skills -
Basic financial skills to make sound business decisions. - Ability
to work during core work hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time
occasional weekend work may be required as duties demand. -

computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged
periods of time. · Must have the physical ability to perform
