Performs a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions and Produces diagnostically acceptable films for radiologist interpretation. Documents patient history, prepares documentation of all procedures/reports completed and reports this to the radiologist. Maintains courtesy, professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, staff and physicians.High schooldiploma or equivalent; Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BCLS required.
