Requirements
Psychiatric nursing experience is the treatment and care of persons
whose principal diagnosis and focus of treatment is a psychiatric
disorder. The experience can include working as a RN on a
psychiatric inpatient unit or in an outpatient setting with
individuals who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis. Must have 4
years of acute care psych experience and a BSN or MSNMust have 4
years of acute care psych experience.BSN or MSN.BLS AHA.RN
