MRI Tech Location: Saginaw, MI Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,320 to $2,440 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $58.00 - $61.00/hourly. Summary: We are searching for a skilled and dependable MRI technologist to join our medical team. The MRI technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and creating scans as per the physicians' directions, screening patients and explaining procedures to them, and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment. Locals not accepted Responsibilities: Prepare scan room and patient for examination. Transport patient into exam room, assist patient & position appropriately for exam; determine if allergic to anything; inject appropriate IV contrast; perform scan with attention to appropriate positioning; be alert for need of additional or thinner slices/images. Utilize correct protocols, coils, restraints and other materials when scanning. Assure proper marking with regard to orientation of patient; enter images with keypad with attention to order of image. Prepare records for radiologist and assures that all clinical information is complete; assures that exam images are in correct order; provide additional information as required. Requirements Requirements: 2 Years of MRI Experience Required, Siemens Experience Required, Associate Degree, BLS Certification, ARRT Certification.
