working with Care Career to find a qualified MICU RN in Midland,
Michigan, 48640! MICU registered nurses (RNs) are a part of the
medical team in an adult critical care unit providing comprehensive
care for critically ill medical patients with a vast variety of
diagnoses. The MICU RNs provides excellent care for patients with
pulmonary problems through intense monitoring and appropriate
treatment for those requiring high-frequency ventilation and
continuous renal replacement therapy. The MICU RN patient
population typically includes ARDS, COPD, Asthma, Pneumonia,
End-stage renal disease, Multi-system organ failure, Diabetes,
Sepsis and GI bleed. MICU nurses also provide emotional support for
patients and their families as well as educating patients and their
families on how to manage post-treatment home care needs. 5
