Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Battle Creek, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,164 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: Travel experience highly preferred. Willingness to float to other medical/surgical units. Flexibility to work with a variety of staff including RNs, LPNs, and Techs. Description: Looking for an experienced travel RN for a Medical Surgical specialty. The unit focuses on rapid admission and discharge of patients. The patient ratio is 1:6 during nights and 1:5 during days. Floating to other medical/surgical units is required based on need. Every other weekend work is expected. The staff is mixed with RNs, LPNs, Techs, and other support roles. Experience in high patient turnover environments is ideal. Candidates must demonstrate strong prioritization and customer service skills. Must handle surges in patient volume effectively. Unit may flex ratios to 8 patients per RN, but support will be provided by LPNs. Candidates will be required to manage a variety of patient conditions and treatments. Flu vaccine is required; medical exemptions will be considered. All lab work must be completed within specified timelines post-contract signing. Proof of Flu vaccination is necessary with submission. Vaccination exemptions must be submitted promptly after contract signing.
