and build, a better world.Responsibilities:* Lead creation and
documentation of power electronics converter control requirements.*
Lead power electronics converter controls and calibration
activity.* Work with suppliers to ensure power converter controls
requirements are met during component and system level testing.*
Lead/Support hazard analysis, fault-tree analysis and functional
safety activities related to power electronics converter controls.*
Develop power electronics controls design verification test plan.*
Solve various controls integration issues during component level
and system level integration testing.* Collaborate with suppliers,
other technical leads and program manager to provide efficient
solutions for prototype and production issues related to power
electronics converter controls.* Develop next generation of power
electronics converter control algorithms.* Benchmarking current
innovative in power electronics converter control algorithms. The
annual salary for this role is $97,000 - $139,000 plus any
applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on
various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for
the role.) #LI-EG1Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical Engineering or relevant subject area.* 3 or more years
of industry experience.* Past OEM or startup experience or Tier-1
supplier product development experience. OR * Master's Degree in
Electrical Engineering or relevant subject area.* 1 or more years
of industry experience.* Past OEM or startup experience or Tier-1
supplier product development experience. OR * PhD in Electrical
Engineering or relevant subject area.* Past OEM or startup
experience or Tier-1 supplier product development experience.
Preferred Qualifications:* Hands-on testing and modeling experience
with HV power electronics.* Prior experience with power electronics
converter controls.* Deep knowledge of power electronics hardware
and software.* Basic knowledge about Functional Safety and
