position is part of the CNH Industrial Vehicle Electrification Team
and will report to the Director - Energy Storage Systems and
Integration.As the Technical Program Engineering Lead for Battery
Systems, you will provide program management oversight for the
development of battery systems for products in the Agricultural and
Construction Industries. You will define and manage project plans,
both internal and external, and ensure the completion of design,
build, test and delivery activities within the product development
process. You will be responsible for engineering deliverables
associated for energy storage systems while meeting targets for
cost, quality and timing. Responsibilities include:* Create
effective project plans and lead engineering teams towards the
timely completion of all deliverables* Define and handle battery
pack performance targets for cost, quality, timing and mass related
to pack components and complete assemblies* Create and handle
engineering bill of material, associated changes and coordinate
with multi-functional groups (i.e., purchasing, manufacturing,
finance)* Active member of trade study teams in support of program
strategies and results* Develop project presentations and conduct
regular program status reviews for senior management* Provide
project work coordination, team management, task assignment and
readiness evaluation* Provide project risk assessments and
associated mitigation plans* Work closely with the battery team to
provide leadership direction for multi-functional activities* Lead
the creation of all documentation associated with outside
engineering services (SOW's) and sourcing activities* Lead global
engineering coordination as required for battery project planning
and execution* Develop strong lines of communication with lead
engineers and multi-functional team members to stay in tune with
project changes* Stay abreast of the latest technologies for
program management tools and methodologies* Provide
direction/mentorship to engineering team members to drive effective
product development processes The annual salary for this role is
$102,000 - $156,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will
vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill,
experience and qualification for the role.) #LI-EG1Required
Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
with 6 or more years of technical project management experience in
the electric vehicle industry Preferred Qualifications:*
Demonstrated leadership in high value automotive and/or commercial
vehicle programs* Deep understanding of OEM product development
cycle* Experience working with/for OEM's and component suppliers*
Excellent team management, risk assessment and leadership skills*
Skilled at handling project technical issues and finding creative
ways to solve them* Ability to develop effective technical plans
based on program requirements* Proven strength in understanding
complex systems* Ability to remain agile and reacts quickly to
program changes* Skilled in typical program management tools (i.e.,
MS-Word, Excel, Project, JIRA)* Excellent written, verbal and
presentation skills in English* Deep experience with
multi-functional collaboration* Strong social skills and proactive
behaviors* Ability to set clear objectives and deliverables, hold
others accountable and influence others, regardless of position
power or organization boundaries* Meticulous individual with the
ability to extract and understand the big picture* Agriculture and
Construction domain knowledge and experience* MBA or advanced
engineering degree* PMP Certified* Knowledge of e-powertrain
components (motors, inverters, software, chargers)* Product design
and release experience* Knowledge in electric vehicle certification
requirements and/or process* Familiarity with Advanced Product
Quality Planning (APQP)* Experience using both stage gate and Agile
