Zeller is seeking a highly skilled CDL-A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods and materials to and from our commercial properties across various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing delivery schedules, maintaining vehicles, and upholding the highest safety standards, thereby directly contributing to our ethos of building sustainability and promoting our brands reputation. Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck. Load and unload cargo, ensuring safety and integrity of goods. Record and maintain logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies. Plan routes using GPS systems to optimize delivery schedules. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns. Communicate effectively with the logistics team to confirm pick-ups and deliveries. Proven expertise in operating a tractor-trailer and heavy trucks. Strong understanding of national driving rules and regulations. Excellent logistical planning and time management skills. Ability to handle unexpected situations, like traffic delays or mechanical failures. Good physical condition and endurance.
