This position will be responsible for producing high-quality products within every facet of the production process. Additionally, we are seeking an individual who demonstrates the aptitude to learn and run all machines and equipment within the Warehouse and Bindery Department.Helm benefits:

  • Operation of the following print shop bindery equipment: perfect binder, saddle stitcher, slitter, cutter, creaser, collator, drill press, folder, inserter, ink jet, Shrinwrap tunnel, Cerlox, and digital high-speed guillotine cutter.
  • Leads warehouse tasks and projects
  • Set-up and delegation of tasks and projects to production employees
  • Set-up and operation of small machines
  • Performs line and/or table assembly and packing
  • Monitors employee productivity levels
  • Leads training of employees
  • Ensure that the employees comply with shop rules
  • Physical tasks such as lifting material up to 70 pounds.
    
    Requirements:
    Essential duties and responsibilities of the Bindery and Print Shop Machine Operator:
    • Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, units of measure, fractions, decimals, etc.
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Project management
    • Sense of urgency
