Lending and Trade Services - Compliance Specialist IThe Compliance Specialist role helps to execute the risk management and compliance program. Under general direction, assist in the analysis of the company's regulatory compliance posture and the developments of control recommendations.Position Responsibilities:Regulatory ComplianceMakes recommendations as a resource and subject matter expert to Lending and Trade Service Business Units for projects, task forces and regulatory implementation, as well as ongoing controls over regulatory requirements.AnalyticsAnalyzes, researches, and executes the preparation of deliverables as assigned related to federal and state regulatory exams, internal audits and projects, external audits, and enterprise-level controls.Analyzes and interprets regulatory compliance requirements in collaboration with the Line of Business and Compliance.Gathers, analyzes, interprets, and communicates statistics for related committees.Gathers information and prepares reports required for the Compliance Management System (CMS) process and other reporting related to CMSReporting/Project MgtParticipates on projects as required.Testing/ExamExecutes periodic self-monitoring or testing to determine whether policies and procedures are being followed.Position Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or 4 years relevant experience3 years in a related field OR 5 years in compliance or risk managementLivonia Operations Center8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
