We are seeking a Marketing Specialist I/II to join our proactive team of ethical, talented, passionate professionals and leaders at our Flint, MI office. POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist I/II to support our marketing and business development efforts. This role plays a key part in developing compelling proposals, project marketing materials, and brand storytelling to help win work and showcase our expertise. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead the preparation of proposal content, ensuring all content complies with RFP/RFQ. Design proposals using InDesign and other creative software (Illustrator), including organization charts, infographics, photos with callouts, etc. Facilitate proposal reviews, apply lessons learned, and manage revisions based on team feedback. Accountable for the quality of proposals, presentations, qualifications, and other marketing material. Ensures brand consistency, accuracy, and compliance. Sets up proposal kick-off meetings in a timely manner, allowing time to meet proposal milestone dates. Reviews, edits, and assists with development of all other marketing materials (website additions, award submissions, project sheets, presentations, newsletters, etc.). Proofreads marketing products and materials developed by others for accuracy and consistency. Assists with updating resumes, statements of qualifications, and other marketing material. Contributes to social media campaigns on behalf of ROWE. Fills conference/promotional event material requests. JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate is highly organized, has an eye for page layout design, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent pursuits. Qualifications required include: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field required. Marketing Specialist I: 0-3 years of experience preferred; Marketing Specialist II: 4 years of marketing experience in the AEC Industry highly preferred. Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat required. Other Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge is a plus (Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom). Ability to work well under strict deadlines both independently and with others. Ability to work occasional weekends. Excellent time management and organization skills. Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities. Ability to work independently or on a team. Ability to work remote and in person effectively.
