Bachelor's Degree - Monday to Friday - Day Shift -

5+ Years Experience in -Automotive Industry, Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Purchasing

The Cost Recovery Lead works collaboratively with some other areas but mostly with logistics. This person must be able to negotiate with customers topics related to cost incurred in the supply chain.

  About the Position:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Lead commercial negotiations pertaining supply chain, quality, and others with N.A. customers
    
  • Lead the involved teams to provide correct, usable information to substantiate our claims, on a timely manner
    
  • Specifically, needs to work cross-functionally with other areas, mainly logistics to gather the required customer claim documentation
    
  • Capture lessons learned to help the company improve the process of classifying customer claims, with the goal of increasing our collection ratio
    
  • Compile information, business case structure. Prepare executive level presentations to interact with customers at supervisor and management level
    
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data in all internal records, files, or systems. Create single views per customer
    
  • Facilitate communication with KONA executive team to write off items that are not to be pursued, whether isolated or generic
    
  • Set priorities across customers, cases

    Requirements: -
    
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Related Discipline
      
    • Or Engineering with Cost Engineering Background
      
    • 5+ Years Experience In Automotive Industry, Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Purchasing
      
    • Advanced Knowledge of:
      
      • 
        
      • Legal Framework - Understand Terms and Conditions
        
      • Cost Structures and Cost Calculations
        
      • Supply Chain Costs & Allocation, Modes and Means of Transportation, Lead Times, Customs, and Related Topics
        
        
        
      • Negotiation, Communication, Interpersonal, and Analytical Skills
        
      • IT Skills - Sufficient to Navigate Through Our Systems Deeper then the Average User -
        
      • Proficiency In English - Spanish is a Plus
        
      • General Knowledge of Manufacturing Tools and Equipment
        
      • Understanding of Quality Systems
