The role will design and build test fixtures, operate dynamometers and operate equipment under test. The NVH Technician will assist the Project Engineer with preparing data for customer presentations and reports. -This position in located in Livonia, MI.As a NVH Test Tech, you will be responsible for:

• Test setup
• Instrumentation installation
• Data acquisition and processing
• Design and build test fixtures
• Operate dynamometers and equipment under test
• Assist Project Manager with data preparation, customer presentations and reportsTo be considered as a NVH Test Tech, you will need:
  • Associates degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or a technical field.
  • 3 years of experience installing and using various types of NVH Instrumentation and transducers for acoustic and vibration measurement
  • 3 years of experience using Siemens (LMS), B & K Pulse and Head Acoustics hardware and software for data acquisition and analysis
  • Ability to acquire NVH and durability data for operating measurements, modal analysis, operating deflection shapes and rotating machinery dynamics
  • Ability to conduct light mechanical work using a variety of hand and power tools to modify and/or change the system or components under test
  • Ability to operate various test equipment, including dynamometer test stands, shaker systems and material testing equipment
  • Ability to write basic test plans
