Midwest Shooting Center is seeking a motivated Part Time Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art indoor shooting facility. As a key member of our retail operations, you will play an integral role in providing superior customer service and engaging with clients to meet their shooting and purchasing needs. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about firearms, looking to deepen their knowledge and expertise in a retail environment dedicated to safety and quality. Greet and assist customers, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring they have outstanding shopping experience Demonstrate products and educate customers on different firearm models, accessories, and safety equipment Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain an orderly and visually appealing sales area in alignment with company standards Manage inventory levels and ensure products are well-stocked and properly displayed Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding firearms sales and safety Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Proficiency in using electronic point of sale systems Knowledge of firearms safety and handling Ability to perform tasks requiring physical activities such as lifting and standing for long periods Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Life Insurance Completion of a basic firearm safety training course (provided by employer upon hiring) Any state-specific certifications required to sell firearms
