for a Social Worker specializing in school-based services, located
in Pontiac, MI. This full-time travel assignment focuses on serving
K-12 students, primarily in middle and high school settings within
a residential facility. The facility supports male youth who are
victims or offenders of sexual violence, requiring a compassionate
and experienced professional to provide onsite support and
counseling. Key Responsibilities: Deliver social work services
tailored to the needs of male students in a residential facility
environment. Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to
support behavioral and emotional challenges related to trauma.
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and external agencies
to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Monitor
student progress and adjust strategies as necessary to promote
positive outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of
all services provided, complying with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions relevant to the
caseload. Desired Qualifications: Valid Michigan Social Work
license (LMSW or LBSW) is required; candidates should verify
licensure status prior to application. Experience working with male
youth involved in or affected by sexual violence or trauma is
strongly preferred. Previous work in school settings, particularly
middle and high schools, is highly desirable. Ability to work
onsite exclusively; virtual or remote services are not permitted
for this role. Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence
to engage effectively with diverse student populations. Location &
Schedule: This is a travel assignment based in Pontiac, MI.
Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Onsite presence required
with no option for virtual work. This position offers the unique
