Details 8am – 4:30pm, Monday–Friday, 40hr/week Contract: Ongoing
Renewable Contract Through Cell Staff Fully In-Person (No Remote)
LPC (must be master’s level) Locations: Kincheloe, Whitmore Lake,
Ypsilanti, Jackson, and New Haven Pay Rate range depending on Exp:
$53 - 55/hr LMSW/LPC Duties Complete and oversee a variety of
professional assignments to provide casework and treatment services
to residents of State facilities, group homes, or other care
facilities. Provide individual and/or group treatment and social
casework for residents/clients and families. Serve within a
treatment team to diagnosis problems, formulate treatment plans,
and evaluate progress. Prepare social-psychiatric case information,
psychosocial assessment, and social work treatment plans, for use
in preadmission screening & diagnosis. Arrange for placement of
residents in suitable homes; assist in patient adjustments to the
community; evaluate patient needs for future care. Help residents
arrange and receive facility services such as patient workshops,
meetings/conferences, locate employment opportunities for eligible
residents. LMSW/LPC Qualifications Graduation from an accredited
educational institution Licensed as a Licensed Master Social Worker
(LMSW) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the State in
which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
1 year of relevant Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC) experience *Limited Licenses are
accepted* LMSW/LPC Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of
casework methods, techniques, and their applications to work
problems Knowledge of the principles of human growth and behavior,
basic sociological and psychological treatment and therapy
practices Knowledge of interviewing skills and techniques Ability
to express ideas effectively, orally and in writing Ability to use
interviewing skills and techniques effectively Ability to exercise
good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
